Starting from the village of Edale, This Ultra will take you into the heart of the Peak District national park, where it will take you well over 8500ft of elevation!!!

 

Starting off on the Pennine way you will soon be greeted with some brutal climbs and fast technical descending, with the time of year and the nature of this course this one will surely push you to your limits!!

 

Registration

Registration will be open the evening before in the village hall between 7-9pm should you wish to pre-register early alternatively registration will be open early on race day.

Facilities

Warm & comfortable registration venue. Refreshments at the start, hot food and drinks at the finish. Toilet. Close to local campsites, YHA Hostels and B&B’s (please email if you wish for us send your further details).

 

The course will be fully marked. Recces of this course will be available throughout the year – watch this space!

 

Parking

Edale Village hall which is pay and display, please see link for prices www.peakdistrict.gov.uk/visiting/parking  parking is also available at Edale train Station which to is pay and display. Free parking can be found around the village but these do tend to fill up pretty early on.

 

Feed Stations

There will be three feed stations on route the first one at mile 14 which is located at the bottom of Parkin Clough, the second at mile 30 at Langsett Barn were they will be warm food and drinks available. The final station will be at mile 45 which is located at Parkin Clough which you should recognise as you passed this at mile 14.

 

This race is the big brother of the Dark Peaks 30 Ultra Trail.

 

A final email will be sent out prior to the race with final instructions.
